Tina Fahandezh Saadi was born in Kerman, Iran and later relocated to the United States, settling in the Bay Area. Growing up, she attended Nima Farsi School, where she learned Persian language, traditions, and culture. Tina's journey into Persian dance began at the age of 7 at Farsi school, and she honed her skills under the guidance of Persian dance pioneer Shahrzad Khorsandi. She in highscgool she began dancing with renowned dancer Miriam Peretz.
Tina has shared her passion for Persian dance as an instructor at Nima Farsi School and NK Dance Studios in Bingen, Washington. Outside the studio, she deepened her understanding of Persian culture through coursework in Iranian Studies and Global Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed her undergraduate degree in 2020.
Tina's compassionate nature and rich background position her as a charismatic instructor for those interested in exploring Persian cultural roots through dance, poetry, and performance in the Greater Bay Area.
